Football Game Preview: Midway vs. Appleton City/Montrose

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Midway. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Appleton City/Montrose at 7:00 PM. Midway have bulldozed their previous five opponents, so Appleton City/Montrose might have their hands full.

Midway put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They blew past Adrian 24-0. The victory was familiar territory for Midway, who now have seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Appleton City/Montrose found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-46 punch to the gut against Liberal/Bronaugh.

Everything went Midway's way against Appleton City/Montrose the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 34-8 win. Will Midway repeat their success, or does Appleton City/Montrose have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
