Volleyball Recap: Guthrie Takes a Loss

Guthrie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Noble Bears. The Bluejays were not able to make up for their loss to the Bears from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Guthrie's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Noble, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-13-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Guthrie will challenge Douglass at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Noble, they will head out to take on Newcastle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
