Basketball Game Preview: Antioch Bears vs. Bell County Bobcats

The Antioch Bears will face off against the Bell County Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Antioch comes in on seven and Bell County on six.

Last Sunday, the stars were shining brightly for Antioch in a 75-60 victory over Dickson County.

Jaiden Claybrook continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 14 for 19 on his way to 35 points and eight assists. The matchup was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. Ta'Khyian Whitset was another key player, going 8 of 9 on his way to 19 points and eight rebounds.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Antioch was working as a unit and finished the game with 28 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Bell County was fully in charge on Sunday, breezing past Model 75-43. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

Antioch has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Bell County, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
