Baseball Recap: Apache Takes a Loss

Apache was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 16-5 to the Mangum Tigers. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Apache's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Mangum, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

Apache will take on Riverside Indian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mangum, they will face off against Snyder at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cyclones have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.22 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
