Soccer Recap: Wilmot Comes Up Short

Wilmot lost against Wauconda back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers lost 9-0 to the Bulldogs. Wilmot have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wilmot's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wauconda, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Wilmot is taking a road trip to face off against Waterford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Wilmot their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Wauconda, they will host Buffalo Grove at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Buffalo Grove's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
