Basketball Preview: Dixon Bulldogs vs. Heide Trask Titans

The Bulldogs breezed past the Blue Devils to the tune of 54-27 on Tuesday. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Dixon relied on the efforts of Lily Borden, who almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine boards, and Leah Parker, who posted six points along with eight rebounds and four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Borden has scored at least a third of the Bulldogs' points. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Brown, who had seven points in addition to 12 boards and three steals.
Dixon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in ten consecutive games dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Heide Trask came up short against East Bladen on Tuesday and fell 44-37.
