Baseball Recap: Platt Comes Up Short

If Platt was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of RHAM on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers fell 7-4 to the Hall Warriors on Monday. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Platt saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vance Romano, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was Romano's first of the season. Another was Braelen Silverio, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Platt's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 8-3-1. As for Hall, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Platt will square off against Bristol Central at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
