Baseball Recap: Beaver Dam Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Beaver Dam's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Tonopah Muckers on Saturday. The Diamondback haven't had much luck with the Muckers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Ruger Holcomb made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Manuel Castillo, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Beaver Dam's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Tonopah, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Beaver Dam will challenge Mountain View Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Tonopah, they will head out on the road to challenge Indian Springs at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
