Softball Recap: Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils vs. Central Dragons
Bellwood-Antis had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 3-8 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Central Dragons 8-7. For the Blue Devils, this counts as revenge for the 11-1 win the Dragons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.
Palynn Gregg was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off nine hits. Gregg was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
