Otis took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past the Deer Trail Eagles 52-12. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Gracen Bechtle threw for 85 yards and one TD. Emiliano Varela was his top target, picking up 61 receiving yards. On the ground, Mitchell Stivers rushed for 132 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries.

Although Deer Trail took the loss, they still got scores from Payden Miller and Hunter Meredith.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Otis will host Weskan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Deer Trail, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Sierra Grande at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
