After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Yankton, Jefferson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Spearfish Spartans 7-1. That six goal margin sets a new team best for Jefferson this season.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Spearfish, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Jefferson wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Douglas/Rapid City Christian on the 30th. As for Spearfish, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Roosevelt on the 30th.
