Lehman won the last time they faced KIPP NYC College Prep and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won ten games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Leonardo Tatis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Lehman got a massive performance out of Kevin Garcia, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was Garcia's first of the season. Carlos Santana was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Lehman pushed their record up to 17-1-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for KIPP NYC College Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Lehman will welcome Columbus at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for KIPP NYC College Prep, they will head out on the road to square off against Dodge Vocational at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
