Volleyball Recap: Forest's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Forest challenged Leon on Saturday. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lions. The Wildcats were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Lions, so the Wildcats were just returning the favor.

Forest never let Leon on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 26-24.

Forest found their leader in sophomore Addison Owens, who had 12 digs and five assists.

Despite the loss, Leon still got an impressive performance from Jessica Campbell, who had ten digs and two assists.

Forest's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Leon, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Coincidentally, Forest and Leon will both be playing Pike Liberal Arts the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will host the Patriots at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
