Soccer Recap: Hart Comes Up Short

Hart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oakridge Eagles. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Hart's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Oakridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7-1.

Coming up, Hart will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Fremont at 5:30 p.m. Fremont's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Hart's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Oakridge, they will head out to face off against Ludington at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
