Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the George Washington Patriots. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 19-25, 25-19.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for George Washington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lincoln is set to face off against their familiar foe DMLK at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, George Washington will take on rival Thomas Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
