Baseball Recap: North Takes a Loss

North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Worcester Tech Eagles, falling 15-6. The Polar Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in May of 2022.

North's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Worcester Tech, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, North is taking a road trip to face off against St. Bernard's Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bernardians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14 runs per game on average), something the Polar Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Worcester Tech, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Bartlett at 3:30 p.m. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season.
