Preview: Bishop Guertin vs. Nashua North
Bishop Guertin had trouble last Friday, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. They will be playing at home against Nashua North at at 6:30 PM on Saturday. If the contest is anything like the 49-45 finish from the last time they met, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
After a dominant victory in their match two weeks ago, Bishop Guertin were humbled. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 9-41 walloping at Merrimack's hands. Bishop Guertin's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the game before.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at the half for Nashua North and Nashua South, but Nashua North stepped up in the second half. Nashua North came out on top against Nashua South by a score of 21-14.
Nashua North's win lifted them to 4-1 while Bishop Guertin's loss dropped them down to 1-4. We'll find out if Nashua North can add another positive mark to their record or if Bishop Guertin can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Nashua North's step.
