Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Side). They were the clear victor by a 36-10 margin over the Trimble Tech Bulldogs on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Steers with their most commanding win of the season.

North Side's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Fithawit Abreha led the charge by putting up eight points. That's the most points Abreha has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Acealynn Teyauna Gray, who posted eight points.

The win made it two in a row for North Side and bumps their season record up to 4-20. As for Trimble Tech, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

North Side will face off against Arlington Heights at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Arlington Heights' favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while North Side has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. As for Trimble Tech, they will take on Paschal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Paschal has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 175 points over their last three contests.
