Baseball Game Preview: Robertson County Black Devils vs. Calvary Christian Cougars

The Robertson County Black Devils will head out on the road to square off against the Calvary Christian Cougars at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Robertson County is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Robertson County came up short against Paris on Friday, falling 17-4.

Robertson County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henry Haag, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Calvary Christian had just enough and edged out Dayton 5-3 on Friday.

Josh Ruwe was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.

Robertson County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Calvary Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Robertson County couldn't quite get it done against Calvary Christian when the teams last played back in April of 2018 as they fell 8-3. Can Robertson County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
