If Marion wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Kokomo, they should've done a better job of containing Eliana Stewart. The Kokomo Wildkats came out on top against the Marion Giants by a score of 56-44 on Friday thanks in part to Stewart, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 18 rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.2 boards per game.
Another player making a difference was Satyra Scott, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 14 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.
Several Giants players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short.
