Fremont came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Kent City Eagles, sneaking past 3-1. The Packers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Fremont saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Seth Zerlaut, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Fremont's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-13. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Kent City, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-20.

Looking ahead, Fremont will challenge Tri County Area at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kent City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
