Basketball Recap: Park Center's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hopkins, Park Center was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They snuck past the Edina Hornets with a 64-60 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Park Center's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5. As for Edina, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Park Center will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Mankato East at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Mankato East's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Edina, they will head out to challenge Washburn at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
