Basketball Recap: Saratoga Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Saratoga duked it out withAmerican on Saturday. The Saratoga Falcons fell to the American Eagles 55-50. The loss was the Falcons' first of the season.

Dylan JaWei Lee had an outrageously good game for American as he went 7 of 13 on his way to 20 points and seven rebounds. The game was Lee's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Tai, who went 5 of 6 on his way to 14 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Saratoga fell to 2-1. As for American, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Saratoga will take on Carmel at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for American, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-54 loss against Irvington on the 10th.
