Baseball Recap: Meade Takes a Loss

Meade lost against South River back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Meade came up short against South River, falling 12-2. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Evan Reyes made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Meade's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for South River, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Meade will face off against rival Southern at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, South River is set to take on their familiar foe North County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
