Baseball Recap: Methuen Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Methuen's offense. They came up short against the Central Catholic Raiders on Monday, falling 8-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Rangers were not able to get on the board.

Methuen dropped their record down to 5-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Central Catholic, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Methuen will challenge Chelmsford at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Haverhill at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
