Basketball Recap: Washington Piles Up the Points Against Perry

It was a proper cat-fight when Washington duked it out withPerry on Friday. The Washington Tigers breezed by the Perry Panthers to the tune of 77-46. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 20 points or more this season.

Perry lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Luke Wolf, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 14 points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Drake Jacobsen, who posted 13 points.

The win (which was Washington's fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-3. As for Perry, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Washington has already played their next game, an 89-41 victory against John Marshall on the 25th. As for Perry, they will take on McKinley at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
