Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clear Brook). They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Dickinson Gators on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wolverines as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Clear Brook's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 8-11-2. As for Dickinson, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Clear Brook will be playing in front of their home fans against Deer Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Deer Park's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Clear Brook's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Dickinson, they will head out to challenge Clear Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clear Lake will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Dickinson surely won't give up without a fight.
