Basketball Recap: H-L-V/Tri-County Takes a Loss

H-L-V/Tri-County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Hillcrest Academy Ravens, falling 66-41. While losing is never fun, H-L-V/Tri-County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 261st, while Hillcrest Academy is ranked 84th).

H-L-V/Tri-County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Hillcrest Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

H-L-V/Tri-County has already played their next matchup (against Montezuma), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hillcrest Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 77-27 victory against Lone Tree on the 4th.
