Basketball Game Recap: San Tan Foothills Sabercats vs. Camelback Spartans

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kailua, the San Tan Foothills Sabercats were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Camelback and snuck past 37-35.

San Tan Foothills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cienna Witcher led the charge by scoring 5 points along with 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Another player making a difference was Aj Williams, who scored 13 points along with 4 steals.

San Tan Foothills' victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Camelback, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

San Tan Foothills' road trip will continue as they head out to face San Miguel at 5:30 p.m. on November 28th. As for Camelback, they will be playing at home against San Luis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
