Baseball Recap: Clarkstown South Falls Short Against Ranked Fox Lane

Clarkstown South faced Fox Lane in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Vikings took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Foxes. Vikings fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Foxes since on Monday.

Joseph Rosario was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Clarkstown South's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5. As for Fox Lane, they moved to 14-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Clarkstown South is taking a road trip to challenge Tappan Zee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fox Lane, they will be playing at home against Ketcham at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
