Baseball Game Preview: Mangum Tigers vs. Hammon Warriors

Mangum has won nine straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Hammon has won nine straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Tigers will welcome the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. One thing working in Mangum's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five matchups.

On Tuesday, Mangum made easy work of Cordell and carried off a 20-3 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Hammon hadn't done well against Leedey recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Warriors never let the Bison get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since March 28th.

Mangum has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Hammon, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
