Muir gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets with a sharp 11-1 victory.

Jazmin Jaquez spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits.

At the plate, Abigail (Abi) Milton was incredible, going a perfect4-for-4 with two triples, two stolen bases, and three runs. What's more, she also posted four hits, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jaida Brown, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Muir always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sacred Heart of Jesus only posted an OBP of .273.

Looking ahead, Muir will challenge Duarte at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Sacred Heart of Jesus, they are taking a road trip to square off against Arroyo at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
