Volleyball Recap: Holly Grove Christian Takes a Loss

Holly Grove Christian lost against Greenwood Mennonite last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Flames.

While Holly Grove Christian ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 22-25, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Holly Grove Christian still got an impressive performance from Emily Shin, who had 18 digs.

Holly Grove Christian's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Greenwood Mennonite, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

As of now, neither Holly Grove Christian nor the Flames have any future games scheduled.
