Recap: Clover Park Timberwolves vs. White River Hornets
The Clover Park Timberwolves lost against the White River Hornets back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Clover Park had to suffer through a rough 66-27 loss at the hands of the Hornets. Clover Park has struggled against the Hornets recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Clover Park still got an impressive performance from Kamila Salanoa, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Salanoa is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last 13 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mekaia Williams, who scored nine points.
Clover Park's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for White River, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
Clover Park will take on the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. White River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
