ALA - West Foothills came tearing into Thursday's matchup with 12 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Northwest Christian Crusaders. This was payback for the Guardians, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

ALA - West Foothills took Northwest Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a ten-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-21, 25-17, 21-25, 15-5.

Wyatt Hofmann paced ALA - West Foothills' offense, picking up 14 kills. Hofmann got some help from Ethan Smead and his 30 assists.

Defeat or not, Northwest Christian got some senior leadership from Brooks Martin and Trace Martin. Brooks had 27 digs and six assists, while Trace had 19 assists and six digs.

ALA - West Foothills pushed their record up to 29-4 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road. As for Northwest Christian, they moved to 21-8 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

As of now, neither ALA - West Foothills nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
