Birdville grew its lead to 54 points entering the fourth quarter. BHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Hayward to
Brandon Simmons.
The North Richland Hills school put up 28 points in the first quarter en route to the win. The Hawks scored on a Bransford touchdown pass to Hayward, a touchdown run by Turner, a Turner touchdown run and a touchdown run by Turner in the quarter.
Poly's lone touchdown came on a 3-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Birdville had given up an average of 16.4 points prior to the contest.
BHS also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 65-0.
The loss was the fourth in a row for the Parrots.
