Basketball Game Preview: Englewood Pirates vs. Pueblo East Eagles + How To Watch

The Englewood Pirates will be taking part in a tournament against the Pueblo East Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Englewood will be strutting in after a victory while Pueblo East will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, Englewood didn't have too much trouble with Littleton as they won 65-48.

Englewood's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jonah Singer, who posted 19 points along with eight boards and six steals. The contest was Singer's third in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Ray, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

Englewood was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Littleton only posted eight.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 26-26 at halftime, Pueblo East was not quite Harrison's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They took a 56-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly 13 points.

Pueblo East now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Englewood, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
