Baseball Game Preview: Charlottesville Black Knights vs. Louisa County Lions

The Charlottesville Black Knights will head out to challenge the Louisa County Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Charlottesville is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Orange County just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 6-1 to the Fighting Hornets.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last game, Louisa County made sure to put some runs up on the board against Goochland on Thursday. The Lions blew past the Bulldogs 11-1. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Lions' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Charlottesville's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Louisa County, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.

Everything went Charlottesville's way against Louisa County in their previous meeting on Monday, as Charlottesville made off with an 11-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Black Knights since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
