Basketball Recap: Hackensack Comes Up Short on the Road Against Payne Tech

Hackensack had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell to the Payne Tech Lions 67-61. The Comets were probably out for revenge after losing 56-50 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The victory got Payne Tech back to even at 1-1.

Hackensack will take on Bergen Tech in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Payne Tech has already played their next matchup, a 67-66 defeat against Immaculate Conception on the 16th.
