Volleyball Recap: Trinity Collegiate Has No Trouble Against Virtus Academy

Trinity Collegiate won the last time they faced Virtus Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Titans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolves.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Trinity Collegiate took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 25-14.

Trinity Collegiate has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Virtus Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8-1.

Coming up, Trinity Collegiate will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hilton Head Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. After both having extra time off, Virtus Academy and Williamsburg Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:30 p.m. on the 26th.
