Johnson came up big in Pender's 9-5 win
Shamiah Johnson produced her most outstanding game to date while leading Pender to the win on Tuesday. Johnson was dynamite, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4.
Johnson's strong effort led Pender over Lejeune and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pender is 8-1 against Lejeune going back to April of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
