After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alden-Conger, Randolph was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rockets as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Randolph was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 23-25, 26-24, 25-13.
Randolph found their leader in underclassman Ella Gerster, who had ten digs and two aces.
Randolph's win bumped their record up to 11-16. As for New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13-1 record this season.
