The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins secured a 68-62 W over the Valley Torah Wolfpack thanks in part to Akinsete, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

Another player making a difference was Sean Smith, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.
