Atlee has gone a perfect 10-0 against Mechanicsville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Atlee Raiders will host the Mechanicsville Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Atlee has nine straight victories, Mechanicsville has 11 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Monday, Atlee strolled past Deep Run with points to spare, taking the game 67-48. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Wildcats are ranked 140th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Mechanicsville was beaten by New Kent 97-60 on Monday.

Mechanicsville's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Atlee, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road.
