Soccer Recap: Carlsbad Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Carlsbad was the 2-1 winner over Clovis when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Cavemen/Cavegirls fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Carlsbad have lost by just one goal.

Carlsbad has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11-3 record this season. As for Clovis, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-12-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Carlsbad will face off against rival Roswell at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Clovis is set to challenge their familiar foe Hobbs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
