Volleyball Recap: Hoover Beats Kearny for Their Third Straight Victory

Hoover entered their tilt with Kearny on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Komets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Hoover never let Kearny on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-22.

Hoover's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Kearny, their loss dropped their record down to 6-21.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hoover will challenge rival Morse at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kearny is set to square off against their familiar foe San Diego at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
