Basketball Recap: Shenango Takes a Loss

If Shenango was riding high fresh off their 61-21 takedown of Laurel last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Shenango Wildcats had to suffer through a 61-33 loss at the hands of the Hickory Hornets. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Shenango's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Hickory, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Shenango wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-51 win against Eden Christian Academy on the 28th. As for Hickory, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-50 victory against Mercyhurst Prep on the 28th.
