Basketball Game Preview: Sonoraville Phoenix vs. Ringgold Tigers

The Sonoraville Phoenix will head out on the road to take on the Ringgold Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sonoraville will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Sonoraville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 95-25 victory over Rockmart. The Phoenix have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 25 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Ringgold duked it out withUnion County on Friday. Ringgold came out on top against Union County by a score of 59-52. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Sonoraville pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Ringgold, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Sonoraville came out on top in a nail-biter against Ringgold in their previous meeting back in February of 2022, sneaking past 49-46. Will Sonoraville repeat their success, or does Ringgold have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
