Basketball Recap: General McLane Lancers vs. Meadville Bulldogs
The General McLane Lancers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. Their rough 76-51 defeat to Meadville might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to General McLane of the 72-52 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Meadville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lucas Luteran out in front who scored 18 points along with six steals. Luteran hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Kellen Ball, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
General McLane has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Meadville, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
General McLane will head out on the road to take on the Thunderbirds at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Meadville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
