Volleyball Recap: Kit Carson Comes Up Short

If Kit Carson was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Walsh on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Merino Rams on Saturday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11, 25-10.

Shay Rady paced Kit Carson's offense, picking up three kills. Rady really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with two.

Kit Carson's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Merino, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Kit Carson has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Cheraw on the 26th. As for Merino, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Limon on the 23rd.
