Volleyball Recap: Kit Carson Comes Up Short

If Kit Carson was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Walsh on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Merino Rams on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 25-10.

Shay Rady paced Kit Carson's offense, picking up three kills. Rady really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with two.

Kit Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Merino, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Kit Carson will face off against Cheraw at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Merino, they will square off against Limon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
